A beautiful poster depicting a collection of plants, including aloe and tulip, originating from the work “Historia Botanica Practica” by Giambattista Morandi, an Italian physician and botanist who lived in the 18th century. This exceptional herbarium was published in 1744 in Milan by Petri Francisci Malatestae. Morandi was known for his precise and realistic plant drawings, and his work was one of the most important botanical works of his time.
